# **Privacy policy.**

Last updated 2 November 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

## **What we collect**

We collect what you give us when you create an account: your name, email address and password (stored as a hash). Candidates may add a profile, work history, education, skills, links and a CV. If you send your CV to us directly instead of signing up, our staff add it for you. We then hold it and the details in it without an account. Employers provide company details, which can include a TIN or Fayda number, and proof of payment. If you start one of our Telegram bots, we store your Telegram account ID and the name it shares with us, even if you don't finish signing up. Our talent and employer bots also need your phone number, which you share with a button. We also record your IP address when you sign in and when staff take actions, for security and to limit abuse.

## **How we use it**

We use your data to run the service: securing your account, showing your profile to employers you apply to, sending your applications, sending emails about your account and applications, and reviewing job posts and payments. We do not sell personal data. If you upload a CV, it is processed by software we run ourselves to fill in your profile, replacing what was there, and you can correct the result. A CV you send us directly is processed the same way, and our staff check the result. Everyone with a profile is part of our talent pool, which our staff use to match people with work. If you started one of our bots, we may send you announcements through it, such as training opportunities, and job alerts that match your skills. Send /stop to the bot to end these at any time.

## **Who can see it**

When you apply for a job, that employer receives a copy of your profile as it was at that moment, and can download the CV attached to it. We record each time an employer downloads a CV. Employers can't search for candidates who haven't applied to them. Our staff can see what their role requires, including the talent pool. Each time staff open someone's profile or CV in the pool, it is recorded. Staff actions are recorded in an audit log.

## **Storage and retention**

CVs and payment proofs are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived links. Fayda and TIN numbers are encrypted in our database. Connections to our sites are encrypted. We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your profile, CVs and applications' personal details. We keep payment records and invoices as the law requires, and backups are overwritten within about two weeks.

## **Your choices**

From your account settings you can download a copy of your data or delete your account. You can edit your profile, or replace it by uploading a new CV. If you sent us your CV directly and have no account, contact us and we will send you a copy of your data or erase it. A company's only owner needs to contact us to close the company.

## **Cookies and local storage**

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and local storage for your light or dark preference. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
