Most job boards optimise for the number of listings. That produces noise: duplicate posts, roles that closed weeks ago, salaries hidden until the very end. Candidates learn to distrust the whole thing, and good employers get buried with everyone else.
We started MellaWork with a different constraint: every listing should be worth reading. That means verifying companies, reviewing job details, showing salary ranges, and closing the loop with candidates. It is slower to build and easier to trust.
We are based in Addis Ababa and work across Ethiopia, Kenya and the wider world. The product is English-first, with local context built in.
