Using MellaWork
MellaWork is a recruitment platform for candidates and employers. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Do not use the platform to post false or misleading roles, scrape candidate data, send spam, attempt to access accounts you do not own, or interfere with the service.
Candidate accounts and profiles
You own the content you upload. By publishing a profile, you grant MellaWork permission to display it to employers in accordance with your visibility settings and to share the profile snapshot you submit with an application. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any CV, portfolio or project you upload. Do not upload another person's documents without their permission.
Employer accounts and job posts
Employers must complete verification before publishing. Job posts must be for real roles, with an accurate title, location, salary range (where required by law or policy), and a genuine hiring process. We may reject, edit for formatting, pause or remove a post that is misleading, discriminatory, duplicates another post, or breaches these terms. Material changes to an approved post require re-approval.
Packages, credits and payments
Packages are purchased in Ethiopian birr and include 15% VAT. Credits are added after manual payment verification and do not expire. One credit reserves one job post; a rejected post before approval returns the credit. We do not currently offer online card payments. Refunds are considered case by case where a payment was duplicated or a package could not be used.
Content and intellectual property
The MellaWork name, logo and product are ours. Job posts, profiles and documents remain the property of the person who uploaded them. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, display, process and back up that content to operate the service.
Availability and liability
We work to keep MellaWork available, but the service is provided as-is and may be interrupted for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. We are not a party to any employment relationship and do not guarantee that a role will be filled or that an application will succeed. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, create risk for other users, or are required to be removed by law. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account.
